CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – As conference play continues, Atlantic Coast Conference women’s soccer begins a stretch of five consecutive days featuring at least one matchup, starting on Wednesday, September 17, with a rematch of last season’s ACC Championship match.
ACC Network will broadcast Wednesday’s showdown of No. 7 Florida State at No. 18 North Carolina beginning at 7 p.m. ET. Last season, the Seminoles edged the Tar Heels, 3-2, in the conference final to claim their fifth consecutive title. Florida State, which has outscored its opponents 26-1 this season, enters Wednesday with a three-match unbeaten streak in the all-time series against UNC, with its last loss to the Tar Heels coming in the 2023 Women’s College Cup.
Another top-25 matchup is set for Thursday, September 18 when No. 3 Duke visits No. 6 Notre Dame for a 7 p.m. ET kickoff on ACC Network Extra. The contest will be Duke’s fourth against a ranked opponent this season, as the Blue Devils hold a 2-1 record against Top-25 foes. The Fighting Irish return home for the first time since August 31.
