Zach Collaros was in full gear at Winnipeg Blue Bombers practice on Tuesday, but his level of participation remained unclear.
The 37-year-old quarterback missed the team’s 32-21 loss to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats on Sept. 12
The Bombers visit the Ottawa Redblacks on Saturday night.
The Steubenville, OH native has been out of action since incurring the injury during the team’s 21-13 loss to the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Sept. 6. Chris Streveler started in Collaros’s stead against the Ticats last Friday.
A product of Cincinnati, Collaros is in his 13th CFL season and sixth in Winnipeg. In 10 games this season, Collaros has thrown for 2,297 yards on 197-for-267 passing with 14 touchdowns and 13 interceptions.
A two-time CFL Most Outstanding Player, Collaros has won three Grey Cups.
The Bombers (6-7), losers of three straight, are tied for third in the West Division, trailing the division-leading Riders (10-2) by eight points.
