TERRIER TIDBITS

BU is 1-0 so far at Nickerson Field after posting a 3-1 win over Brown two weeks ago.
In that win, junior Lapo Romieri broke a scoreless deadlock in the first minute of the second half and shortly thereafter assisted on freshman Austin Mobray’s goal.
Romieri leads the Terriers with five points (2g,1a) while both Mobray and sophomore Pharis Petrica own four points apiece (1g,2a).
In total, nine Terriers have earned at least one point apiece.
Senior Ben Alexander has started every minute at net, posting a .708 save percentage and 1.40 goals against average.
Opponents are averaging 1.8 more shot attempts per game with 26-17 advantage in corner kicks.

SCOUTING NAVY

The Midshipmen started the season 1-1-3 in a five-game homestand to open the season with a 2-0 win over Niagara and 1-0 loss to Stonehill.
Navy is 1-1-1 over the last three games with a 1-0- loss at George Washington and 1-0 win vs. UMBC.
Andrew Schug leads Navy at seven points (3g,1a), on more than Duncan Sullivan (2g,2a).
The Midshipmen are averaging 4.4 more shots per game (12.9-8.5) while owning a 44-35 advantage in corner kicks.

SERIES HISTORY

BU leads the all-time series, 8-2-2, with a 6-0-1 home mark in the series that dates back to 2013.
Last season in Annapolis, senior Quin DeLaMater scored in the 47th minute with help from classmate Ryan Lau to lead the Terriers to a 1-0 victory and 17-10 advantage in shot attempts.
Two years ago, BU earned a 4-1 home victory with a 13-7 lead in shots.

LOOKING AHEAD

BU will start off a three-game road trip at Boston College on Tuesday (Sept. 23) with a 7 p.m. start time.
The two rivals have battled to a draw in each of the last three seasons, including last year’s 1-1 home draw following a 2-2 road tie in 2023.
BC is riding an 11-game unbeaten streak in the series at 7-0-4 after the Terriers claimed a 1-0 road victory in 2012.
