JAKARTA – King Jackson, son of former UFC champion Quinton “Rampage” Jackson, was arrested on criminal charges in Los Angeles, USA.
These arrests came nearly a month after Jackson brutally attacked fellow mixed martial arts fighters (MMA) Stuart Smith or Syko Stu.
According to records by LA County inmates quoted from NBC News, Jackson was arrested on Thursday local time and detained on USD 50.000 bail.
The Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) has not yet responded to a request for confirmation of whether this arrest was related to the attack on Stuart Smith on August 23, 2025.
At that time, Jackson suddenly climbed onto the stage of the KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy where Smith had stood up who was not ready to accept the attack.
The 25-year-old then slammed Smith onto the stage mat, before finally sitting on top of Smith who lay down and punch his rival many times.
Soon another wrestler came to Jackson who almost killed Smith to intervene.
Smith, who was unconscious after the attack, has been discharged from hospital and rests at home based on Facebook posts on August 31.
With a sudden attack from Jackson, Smiths suffered trauma to his jaw, lacerations to his lips, upper jaw fractures, and some teeth loss.
Still according to the Facebook post, Smith is said to have a long way to go to recover.
Smith did not immediately respond to a request for comment this Friday over Jackson’s arrest.
According to the KnokX Pro Wrestling Academy statement, Jackson’s attack on Smith was not planned. It is suspected that the trigger for the incident the day before the incident recorded in the video showed Smith slamming the can on Jackson’s head. Jackson was then angry. However, another video shows the two made up.
