Vikes first to beat the keeper
In the dying seconds of the first half, a Vikes corner led to a scrum in front of the Pronghorns’ net. Alex Moody was able to put home a shot amidst the crowd. This was hi first goal of the season and put the Vikes ahead 1-0 before halftime.

Lethbridge evened it up early in the second half
In the 52nd minute, the Pronghorns tied the game at 1-1. The goal came as the ball was crossed into the box and led to a quick pass and shot which found the back of the net.

Vikes countered as Pearse scored a highlight reel goal
On a rush, Matthew Pearse danced through Pronghorns’ defenders and blasted a shot past the keeper to put the Vikes back in front.

Yassin puts the game out of reach
Off a boot by Callum Weir the ball soared the length of the pitch, taking a high bounce off the turf and over the head of the Pronghorns’ goalie. Yassin Guitouni was there to capitalize on the misplayed ball and put the game out of reach, securing the 3-1 victory for the Vikes.

The Vikes remain undefeated as they move to 6-0-2 on the season, while the Pronghorns fall to 2-2-3.
