EDMOND, Okla. – SWOSU Soccer dropped its final non-conference match of the season on Sunday, falling 1-0 to Central Oklahoma after the Bronchos netted the game-winner with just under 10 minutes to play.

The setback moves the Bulldogs to 4-2 on the year as they now turn their attention to conference play.

UCO applied consistent pressure throughout, finishing with a 20-8 advantage in shots and a 9-2 edge in corner kicks. The Bronchos put 10 shots on goal compared to four for the Dawgs.

Ruth Vasquez led the offensive push with two shots on target, while goalkeeper Emma Young tallied a season-high nine saves before the Bronchos finally broke through in the closing minutes.

With non-conference action now wrapped up, SWOSU shifts focus to Great American Conference play. The Bulldogs will host Southern Nazarene on Wednesday at 5:00 pm for both the GAC opener and the annual Pack The Park event. Students in attendance will enjoy free food, drinks, and shirts, along with a chance to win a $1,000 scholarship.
