SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Concordia Texas women’s soccer team was downed by a score of 4-0 at Trinity University. A second half surge by the Tigers vaulted them past the Tornados at Trinity Field on Sunday. 

Off a free kick lob into the box by Lorian Lopez in the 14th, a failed clearout by Trinity would result in a shot straight on by Maddie Oberholtzer that sailed just high of the goal. 

Roberts would earn a spectacular diving save in the 30th to help keep the match scoreless heading into the break. The Tigers would break through with a goal in the 52nd that bounced through the hands of Roberts. 

Trinity would add another goal in the 63rd off a set piece in the box & another two in the 75th & 76th to claim the win.

Concordia Texas will next kick off conference play in the SCAC as they will head to Longview, Texas to take on LeTourneau University this Friday, September 26th. Kick off is set for 5pm.
