Canadian tennis star Felix Auger-Aliassime tied the knot with Moroccan equestrian Nina Ghaibi on Saturday in a private ceremony in Marrakech, an attendee anounced via X. The couple, together since March 2019, exchanged vows surrounded by close friends and family.

Fellow Canadian tennis players Gabriel Diallo and Vasek Pospisil attended the wedding. Pospisil shared a clip of the couple smiling at the altar on his Instagram stories, giving fans a glimpse of the celebration.

Auger-Aliassime and Ghaibi were engaged in November 2024 during a romantic trip to the Seychelles.
In an interview with ATPTour.com last month, Auger-Aliassime reflected on life with his Moroccan wife.

“Everyone’s different. There are great players out there who are single, or looking, or not looking. It’s very personal. Relationships are so different from one person to the next. But for me personally, having Nina and having her by my side through this whole journey as a professional tennis player has meant a lot,” he said.

He added, “I met her when I was 18 and she’s always been amazing when it comes to understanding what I have to go through. She supports me, listens and even gives me great advice, whether it’s about tennis or not. We really try to support each other in everything and at the same time, we’re best friends. It’s the best thing to have her in my life.”

Ghaibi competes internationally in equestrian events and is also the cousin of Australian tennis star Ajla Tomljanović. Despite busy schedules, the couple ensures they see each other about every four weeks, with Felix visiting Morocco during breaks between tournaments.

Two weeks before Auger-Aliassime’s wedding to Ghaibi, Canadian tennis player Denis Shapovalov married Swedish tennis professional Mirjam Björklund on September 9 in Zakynthos, Greece. The couple, engaged since July 2023, exchanged vows at the Lesante Cape Hotel overlooking the Ionian Sea.
