VAIL, Colo. (Sept. 23, 2025) – The Northern Arizona women’s golf team improved on its first-round score by two strokes, shooting a 295 (+7) for a two-round total of +16. The Lumberjacks moved up two spots on the leaderboard and now sit in solo 10th place.

Southern California carded another impressive team round of 276 (-12), bringing its 36-hole total to -24 – a new tournament record. USC’s Jasmine Koo and LSU’s Francesca Fiorellini are tied atop the individual leaderboard at -9 after two rounds.

Amy Hodgkins led the Lumberjacks with a round of 70 (-2), recording three birdies and an eagle on the 339-yard par-4 12th hole. The junior hit an 8-iron from 130 meters to an elevated green, not realizing the ball had rolled into the cup until she reached the green – where she was pleasantly surprised. She jumped 40 spots on the individual leaderboard and is now tied for 27th.

Frankie Dezis and Lizzie Neale are tied for 33rd at +4 overall. Dezis notched four birdies – on holes two, four, five, and 12 – and climbed 15 spots with her 73 (+1). Neale carded a 77 (+5), collecting birdies on holes eight and 18.

Sumin Kang trails by two strokes after posting another 75 (+3). She birdied the third hole and is tied for 46th with a 36-hole total of +6.

Nina Lukyanenko rounded out the NAU lineup, shooting an 82 (+10). She is in solo 83rd at +14 overall.

Tomorrow’s final round will feature a shotgun start at 8:15 a.m. Mountain Standard Time, with NAU beginning on holes 11 through 15. The ‘Jacks will be grouped with Eastern Michigan (ninth, +15), Denver (T-11th, +17), and Mercer (T-11th, +17).
