The Moose Jaw AAA Winmar Warriors are hosting their 7th annual fundraising golf tournament this Friday, September 26, at Lynbrook Golf Club.
General Manager Jay-D Haughton says the event plays a big role in supporting the team’s season.
“A lot of what we do and how we operate is through fundraising. This tournament is a big part of that.”
The two-man Scotch format event includes raffle prizes, a 50/50 draw, and a horse race to end the day. Registration is $100 per player, which consists of 18 holes of golf and lunch. If you’re interested in attending or want more details, visit the Warriors’ Facebook and Instagram pages.
The tournament lands during a busy week for the team, who open their season on Wednesday against Swift Current.
