WWE NXT has seemingly lost a featured star from its roster, based on a recent contract situation that went awry. The surprising news arrived less than a day after the brand featured a considerable angle to close out their latest episode.
On Tuesday evening, the main event was a “winner takes all” match involving NXT Champion Oba Femi and TNA Champion Trick Williams. The winner of that match was to take over both championship belts and defend them at NXT No Mercy this weekend.
However, things became chaotic when Trick got into a ringside altercation with a TNA star. Soon after, more TNA stars jumped over the barricades, and various NXT stars ran out to battle them.

The upcoming NXT event features various championships up for grabs, including Fatal Influence’s Jacey Jayne defending her NXT Women’s Championship.
Amid the TNA invasion and other events, fans may not have noticed that a specific NXT star was a no-show amid Tuesday’s episode of the show.
A PW Insider Elite report indicated that NXT’s Jazmyn Nix has left WWE due to a contract issue. An X post from WrestleOps claims (via PWInsider) that the NXT star reportedly had an expiring contract. She disagreed with the new offer WWE gave her, and according to a Bodyslam.net X post, WWE decided not to renew her contract.
Fans saw Nix as part of the Fatal Influence stable on NXT since joining in July 2024. The trio also included NXT Women’s Champion Jacey Jayne and Fallon Henley. At last week’s NXT Homecoming, they took on WWE’s Rhea Ripley, Stephanie Vaquer, and Lyra Valkyria, and lost the main event match.
However, Nix was absent from Tuesday night’s episode, which featured that big TNA invasion angle to close the show. At the upcoming NXT No Mercy, Jacey Jayne defends her Women’s Championship against Lola Vice, with just Fallon Henley at ringside.
Nix, real name Jade Arianna Gentile, is a former professional soccer player. It should be interesting to see where the 27-year-old athlete goes next after departing NXT, as there could be interest from All Elite Wrestling (AEW) or elsewhere.
