Ahead of NikeSkims’ debut collection being available to shop on September 26, it was available to be seen in a performance event on the steps of the New York Public Library on September 24.In attendance, naturally, was Skims founder Kim Kardashian, who was joined by her mom Kris Jenner and her sister Khloé Kardashian.“I really wanted to make sure there was something for everyone,” Kardashian said of the collection.

When it comes to Skims, Kim Kardashian is often her own best model of her products. That rang true on September 24, when the entrepreneur attended the New York City launch of the NikeSkims collection—which is available to shop on September 26—and its “Bodies at Work” performance event held at the New York Public Library.

Joining Kardashian on Wednesday was her mother, Kris Jenner, and sister Khloé Kardashian, where the trio took in the performance on the steps of the library.

In addition to the performance event, NikeSkims’ inaugural campaign featured more than 50 female athletes, including Serena Williams, Jordan Chiles, and Sha’Carri Richardson. The line includes seven collections and 58 silhouettes and was unveiled on September 22.

“It feels like butter on your skin,” Williams said (via People). “I feel unstoppable when I’m training in it.”

Kardashian told Vogue that a partnership between her brand Skims and Nike “just made sense”: “Skims is very body-oriented—we do swimwear, loungewear, shapewear—so our next evolution was that we really wanted to do activewear,” she told the publication. “Our dream was to work with Nike: Their legacy, innovation, and athlete insights—it was the perfect thing to mix with Skims, and our dedication to the female form.”

The line is meant to be inclusive, featuring sizes from XXS to 4X and prices ranging from $38 to $148. “I really wanted to make sure there was something for everyone,” Kardashian said, adding that she wanted to make sure “that everyone can feel good in what they’re wearing.”

In addition to launching NikeSkims, Kardashian is also the October cover star for Vogue France, wearing over 700 Cartier diamonds totaling over 44 carats—and not much else. Kardashian said on Instagram, “I have a magazine bucket list and this was on mine for my whole life!”

“I will never get used to this!” she added.

In the issue, Kardashian shared that she is “so happy with my life right now,” adding that “The experience of university life, the knowledge I’ve acquired, all of it has been the greatest gift I could have given myself. Since then, I haven’t been afraid to try new things. It makes me very proud. I wasn’t always like this. It’s the people around me who have given me confidence. Knowing that people I admire support me everything I do helps me a lot.”

Kardashian—who will turn 45 years old on October 21—said, “When I turned 40, my mother told me that the next few years were going to be the best years of my life. And it’s true.”

“Today, I know exactly what I want,” she said. “It’s exhilarating.”
