Liverpool had a stunning summer transfer window.
Indeed, the Reds broke the British transfer window twice this summer as they signed Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz.
Meanwhile, Jeremie Frimpong and Milos Kerkez were two exceptional defensive additions too.
However, the star of the show so far has been Hugo Ekitike.

Ekitike has been brilliant for Liverpool, but speaking on The Weekend Wrap, Emmanuel Adebayor has shared an interesting theory about the Frenchman.
Indeed, according to Adebayor, Ekitike probably wouldn’t have signed for Liverpool if he knew Alexander Isak was set to follow him through the door at Anfield.

Adebayor spoke about Ekitike’s move to Liverpool.
The pundit was asked if he thinks Ekitike would have made this move to Merseyside if he knew Alexander Isak was also joining.
The former Arsenal star says Ekitike would never have signed for Liverpool if he knew Isak was also coming in, but now, he’s already there.
“For sure, I think he would have a choice to make. If he knew that Isak was joining definitely then he would never have joined the club, but he’s already here, he’s already at Liverpool doing the job,” Adebayor said.
“It’s beautiful, at some point I can see them having to play with two strikers.
“If you had to choose one, Isak would start in front of him, he has the quality and he knows the league better than Ekitike, but obviously it’s a good signing for Liverpool.”
Emmanuel Adebayor has been in a similar situation
Adebayor is more qualified than most to speak about this situation.
Indeed, Adebayor knows what it’s like to join a team where striking rivals arrive at a similar time.
Back in 2009, Adebayor signed for Manchester City in the same summer as the likes of Carlos Tevez and Roque Santa Cruz.
Meanwhile, Edin Dzeko arrived shortly afterwards.
Adebayor was quick to get out of this situation at Man City as he left to join Real Madrid on loan after just one season at the Etihad, while a permanent move to Tottenham would follow.
Ekitike has been ‘outstanding’ for Liverpool so far, but it’s not going to be easy to retain his place in the side once Isak is fully fit and firing after a stalled pre-season.
