We are halfway through the 2025 college soccer season, and a few goalscoring leaders are starting to emerge among the freshmen. Here is a list of the top goal scorers so far in the 2025 men’s soccer freshman class:
1. Junior Diouf, Grand Canyon (pictured above) — 6 goals, 14 points
Diouf has wasted no time making his mark for GCU. With six goals in as many appearances, he’s given the Lopes a major offensive boost early in his college career. His hot start has already earned him national and conference recognition, including a spot on the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week and WAC Co-Offensive Player of the Week honors.
2. Andres Escudero, Evansville — 5 goals, 10 points
Escudero started the season as a rotational player off the bench but earned his first start against Xavier a couple of weeks ago and scored his debut goal in that game. Since then, he has been a starter, earning four starts and scoring all five of his college goals in that time with two braces.
3. Royie Rahamim, Robert Morris — 4 goals, 10 points
Rahamim has quickly become a go-to option for RMU, displaying composure in front of the goal and providing key moments in tight matches.
4. Martin Rodriguez, Manhattan — 4 goals, 9 points
Rodriguez made an early impact for Manhattan, bagging a hat-trick against NJCU. Scoring four times in just six games, His efficiency has been a bright spot for Manhattan as the season unfolds.
5. Vance Sheffield, Northern Illinois — 4 goals, 9 points
Sheffield’s athleticism and attacking instincts have allowed him to be a reliable goalscorer for the Huskies, already notching four goals and tallying one assist.
Honorable Mentions: Prosper Adagani (HPU), Guilherme Gomes (St. John’s), Javan Ochieng (Gardner-Webb), Antonio Pinto (Loyola Chicago), Jaime Amaro (Bryant), Nicholas Simmonds (Virginia) — 4 goals each.
