There are no real stats to rate offensive lines like other positions. PFF is the best alternative.
The football analytics outlet has released their NFL offensive line rankings ahead of Week 4 and the Bills’ game against the New Orleans Saints (0-3).
Buffalo (3-0) continues to rank well.
According to PFF, the Bills currently have the third-best O-line in the league. The only two teams ahead of Buffalo are the Denver Broncos and Philadelphia Eagles in the top spot.
PFF’s full breakdown on the Bills’ O-line can be found below:
The Bills’ offensive line excelled in pass protection in the team’s Week 3 win over the Dolphins. The group surrendered six pressures — with no sacks or quarterback hits — on 32 pass plays, leading to a 90.6 PFF pass-blocking efficiency rating, which ranked fourth in the league this week.
Largely due to his 93.8 PFF run-blocking grade, left guard David Edwards earned a 95.4 PFF overall grade in the win over Miami to pace all guards in Week 3.
Best player: Dion DawkinsDawkins has logged an 80.9 PFF pass-blocking grade so far this season, ranking seventh among all offensive tackles.
