Countdown To TNA Victory Road Pre-Show Results (9/26/25): Live Match Updates and Highlights

The Countdown To TNA Victory Road Pre-Show opens up with Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt welcoming us and we see the arrivals of Frankie Kazarian and Steve Maclin.

We then get the entrances of the first match of the pre-show.

3-Way Match: “Prime” Cedric Alexander vs. The Rascalz’s Trey Miguel vs. The Rascalz’s Zachary Wentz

The match starts off with a lot of good athletic wrestling and dives early on. Alexander then hits a series of German suplexes. Alexander then scores several two counts. Alexander then hits a suplex on both Miguel and Wentz at the same time. Alexander then nails Wentz with a running forearm in the corner and hits a dropkick to the back of his head. Alexander then charges, but he is caught with a big boot. Miguel and Wentz then began double teaming Alexander. Wentz then cleans house with a flurry of offense on both Miguel and Alexander.

Alexander then hits Wentz with a Michinoku Driver for a two count. Miguel then cinches in a Muta Lock on Alexander after taking out Wentz. Alexander then nearly taps out, but Wentz comes off the top with a swanton bomb to break it up. Wentz then hits the UFO cutter for the win.

We then see Gia Miller interviewing TNA International Champion Steve Maclin. Maclin is cutting a promo saying that when he is done with Frankie Kazarian, he will be crowned King Nothing. El Mesías of AAA then randomly shows up and stares down Maclin.

We then get a video package looking at Steve Maclin vs. Frankie Kazarian.

AJ Francis then makes his way out for The Fir$t Cla$$ Penthouse. Francis starts off by mocking the Canadian fans and putting over his Houston Texans gear, which leads to a “Let’s go Oilers” chant. Francis then praises Trick Williams as TNA World Champion and mocks the locker room complaining about Williams and showing up at the WWE Performance Center pretending to be tough guys. Francis then complains that he wasn’t given the right star treatment. Francis then takes off his jacket to showcase a Florida Panthers shirt. That then gets some boos from the fans because they lost the Stanley Cup to them twice. Francis then says he will cheer the fans up with a listening party for his new album, but when he calls for it to start Matt Hardy’s theme music hits instead.

Francis then complains about Hardy coming out, but Hardy says he is here to save the show. Hardy then says no one wants to hear Francis’ music, but instead they want to hear the iconic Hardys theme. Francis then complains about the “oldest” Tag Team Title match in history at Bound For Glory. Francis then says fans wanted to see Fir$t Cla$$ in that match. Hardy then asks him what alternative universe he was living in. Matt Hardy then says he and Jeff created the tag team ladder match and they created TLC and the Cinematic match. Hardy then says they have created more than any other tag team in history, while Fir$t Cla$$ has created headaches and boredom. Francis then threatens to kick Hardy’s ass. The crowd then chants for Hardy. Hardy then dares him to do it. Both men then brawl. Francis then gets the better of the exchange with a cheap shot and chokeslams Hardy through a table. Commentary then plays it up as Hardy vs. Francis taking place later tonight.

We then get a video package looking at Order 4 vs. The System.

The System, including the returning JDC, then made their way down to the ring. Moose is not with them as he is preparing for his match. Eddie Edwards says it felt good to bring TNA to Edmonton. Edwards then says they are banned from ringside during Moose’s match as is Order 4. Edwards then says JDC is back. Edwards then says they don’t want to wait for Bound For Glory to get their hands on Order 4. Edwards then asks the fans if they wanted to see them kick ass right now. Santino Marella then makes his way out. Marella says it will be AJ Francis vs. Matt Hardy as long as Hardy is cleared by medical. Marella then says Order 4 vs. The System will open Victory Road and the Countdown To TNA Victory Road Pre-Show comes to a close.

TNA Victory Road opens up with a video package and Order 4 make their way down to the ring for the first match of the PPV.

6-Man Tag Team Match: The System (Eddie Edwards, “The Most Professional Wrestler” Brian Myers and JDC) vs. Order 4 (Jason Hotch, John Skyler and Agent Zero)

The match starts off with Zero manhandling Myers. Zero then hits a big suplex. The Great Hands then work over Myers. Hotch is then taken down and JDC tags in. JDC then sends Hotch into the buckles and hits a slingshot leg drop. JDC then hits a Falcon Arrow on Hotch for a two count. Zero then enters the ring, but The System tripe teams him and sends Zero to the floor. JDC then hits an Alabama Jam on Hotch for the win.

We then get the official opening of the Victory Road PPV.

TNA Knockouts World Champion Ash By Elegance then makes her way down to the ring to discuss the state of the Knockouts World Championship. TNA President Carlos Silva and Santino Marella are in the ring as well. Ash starts off by saying this is going to be difficult. Ash then says she came here a year ago and TNA became her home. Ash then says she came to elevate the title and represent the company. Ash then says she is no longer able to compete and do what she loves to do. Ash then announces she is stepping away from in-ring competition and is forfeiting the title. Ash then says she is confident that the rest of the locker room can elevate the title. Ash then tells the crowd that they gave her the best moments of her life and she will miss them. Ash then goes to the back.

Santino Marella then says he has to announce that tonight’s scheduled Knockouts World Tag Team Title Match will be moved to Thursday. Marella then says they will have a battle royal and the final competitors will compete to crown a new champion later tonight. Marella then says that match is happening right now.

TNA Knockouts World Championship #1 Contender’s Battle Royal

The match starts off with Dani Luna showing off her power. The IInspiration then hits some flurry of offense and poses. Everyone then battles. Jody Threat is then tossed. The Angel Warriors then team up to work over Luna. M and Heather by Elegance then battle in the ring. Xia is then tossed out by Luna. Lee and Luna then battle. Luna then hits a big clothesline. Luna then tries to toss Lee over, but everyone else goes after her and she is sent out to the floor. The IInspiration then battles Heather and M. Lee and Jordan then becomes the last two after eliminating the four women.

The winners of the TNA Knockouts World Championship #1 Contender’s Battle Royal, Lei Ying Lee and WWE NXT’s Kelani Jordan!

Kelani Jordan vs. Lei Ying Lee with Indi Hartwell as the guest referee is then set for later tonight to crown a new TNA Knockouts World Champion.

We then see Gia Miller interviewing Indi Hartwell. Hartwell says she is going to call it right down the middle and we will see how hard they will push themselves. Hartwell then says at Bound For Glory they are going to get the best version of her.

Tag Team Match: The Nemeths (“The Wanted Man” Nic Nemeth and “The Hollywood Hunk” Ryan Nemeth) vs. “The Complete” Matt Cardona and The Home Town Man

The match starts off with Cardona and the Home Town Man controlling Ryan Nemeth early on. The Home Town Man then hits him with right hands. Ryan then takes control, but takes way too long mocking Cardona and this opens the doors for a clothesline. Cardona then makes the tag and cleans house on the Nemeths. He then hits a big clothesline in the corner. He then hits a Tomakaze for a two count. Cardona then hits the Radio Silence on Nic, but Ryan breaks it up. The Home Town Man then hits a body press off the top and covers both Nemeths for a near fall. He then goes for Sliced Bread #2, but is cut off and is hit with a Hart Attack. The Home Town Man then turns a submission into a pinfall combination and he pins Ryan out of nowhere.

After the match, Nic Nemeth and Ryan Nemeth attacks and unmasks the Home Town Man, who commentary weren’t even pretending wasn’t Cody Deaner. Cardona then tries to intercede, but he is beaten as well.

Mike Santana then cuts a promo in the lobby. Santana says Trick Williams sent Ridge for him, but tonight is the night he sacrificed 17 years of his life for. Santana then says tonight Ridge is the door he is going to break down. Santana then says he is going to win tonight and walk out of Bound For Glory as the TNA World Champion.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the PPV.

Singles Match: “The Realest” Mike Santana vs. WWE NXT’s Ridge Holland

The match starts off with Santana hitting Holland with a dropkick and he sends Holland out of the ring. Santana then hits a tope con hilo to the outside. Both men then battle to the outside and brawls on the floor. Both men then battle back to the ring. Holland then hits a driver, but Santana kicks out. The crowd then chants TNA. Holland then hits Santana with a powerslam and Holland gets a two count. Santana then mounts a comeback and hits a leaping kick to the neck of Holland. Santana then goes for a somersault into another move, but hits a DDT for another two count.

Both men then battle to the ropes. Santana then hits a superplex. Holland then blocks an attempted suplex and hits an over the shoulder powerslam for a two count. Both men then goes nose to nose jawing with each other before slugging it out. Santana then hits Holland with a Spin The Block for the win.

After the match, TNA World Champion Trick Williams’ music hits and Santana turns towards the entrance. Williams then attacks Santana from behind and nails him with the TNA World Championship. Williams then stands over Santana.

We then get an injury report presented by BIOFLEX. It is announced that Joe Hendry is questionable for tonight, Moose is showing no lingering effects of the headbutt several weeks ago and is at full health for his match, Mara Sadè has bruising and is out for tonight and Steve Maclin and Frankie Kazarian are cleared for tonight.

Matt Hardy is then shown being checked out by a doctor. Hardy demands to be cleared and the doctor clears him.

We then get the entrances of the next match of the PPV.

Hardcore War Advantage Match (The System and Order 4 are banned from ringside): The System’s Moose vs. Order 4’s Mustafa Ali

The match starts off with both men locking up. Ali then tries to hits a series of chops, but they don’t do any damage. Moose then hits several chops of his own and places Ali on the top. Moose then dropkicks Ali and sends him to the floor. Moose then tries to powerbomb Ali onto the stairs, but Ali escapes and hits Moose with a DDT on the floor. Ali then sends Moose him back into the ring and works over Moose. Ali then sends Moose hard into the barricade. Moose then makes a comeback and both men chops the hell out of each other. Moose then goes for a powerbomb, but Ali slips out and turns it into a Destroyer for a two count.

Both men then battle and Moose hits a sit-out powerbomb, but Ali kicks out at the last second. Ali then counters a powerbomb attempt with a suplex. Ali then tells Moose he is nothing and he goes for a handspring move, but Moose spears Ali. Moose then covers Ali, but Ali gets his foot on the ropes at the last second. Moose then charges to spear Ali outside, but he is backdropped over onto the ring steps. Ali then hits a 450 splash off the top, but Moose kicks out at two.

Both men then battle once more. Moose then hits a powerbomb for a two count. The ring attendants who accompanied Ali then gets involved and then hit a low blow on Moose. This then allows Ali to hit a 450 splash for the win.

After the match, the person who hit the low blow on Moose reveals herself to be Tasha Steelz.

Eric Young makes his way down to the ring for the next match of the PPV. Young then cuts a promo saying Joe Hendry wouldn’t appear, but when he says Hendry’s name the music hits and Young is mad.

Singles Match: “The World-Class Maniac” Eric Young vs. Joe Hendry

The match starts off with both men locking up. Hendry then tosses Young to the floor. Young then cuts Hendry off and mauls Hendry in the corner. Young then sends Hendry face-first into the corner as the crowd chants they believed to rally Hendry. Young then chokes Hendry with his boot in the corner. Young then works over Hendry and cinches in a rear naked choke. Hendry’s arm is then dropped twice but the third time he comes to life. Hendry then fights out of Young’s grip and hits a big vertical suplex. Hendry then hits a rana.

Hendry then hits a Fall Away Slam. Hendry then tackles Young down and hits an Olympic Slam for a two count. Young is then placed on the top buckle, but he bites Hendry’s face and Hendry crashes to the mat. Young then hits a big elbow drop on Hendry off the top for a two count. Young then hits Hendry with a piledriver for a two count. Both men then battle near a referee. Young then kicks Hendry low, but the referee doesn’t catch it. Young then places a chair in the ring and grabs another one, but The Northern Armory make their way out. The distraction then allows Hendry to hit The Standing Ovation on Young for the win.

We then get some video footage of the TNA invasion of WWE NXT.

We then get a video package recapping the Matt Hardy and AJ Francis segment from earlier in the night.

Tables Match: The Hardys’ TNA World Tag Team Champion Matt Hardy vs. Fir$t Cla$$’s AJ Francis

The match starts off with both men battling to the floor and Francis uses the ring steps to wear Hardy down. Hardy is then sent back into the ring and Francis chokes him against the ropes. Francis then hits a running knee when Hardy is down in the corner. Hardy then makes a comeback and pulls a table into the ring, but he is kicked down. Francis then sets up a table in the corner. Francis then places Hardy against the table and charges, but Hardy moved. Both men then take turns trying to put each other through the table. Francis then misses a charge and goes through the table, but that doesn’t count as Hardy putting him through it. Hardy then hits a tornado DDT off the ropes.

Hardy then tries to hit the Twist of Fate with a chair around Francis’ neck, but Francis uses the chair to strike Hardy. Francis then comes off the ropes, but he is hit with the chair. Francis then nails Hardy with the chair and goes to the ropes, but he takes too long. Hardy then hits Francis in the back with the chair. Hardy then hits the Side Effect off the ropes. Hardy then sets up a table on the floor, but when he returns Francis spears him. Francis then grabs the TNA World Tag Team Championship belt and says it should be his, but Hardy hits the Twist of Fate on the belt. Both men then battle to the floor. Hardy then nails Francis with the belt and places him on the table. Hardy then hits a leg drop off the top through the table on the floor for the win.

TNA Knockouts World Championship Match (Special Guest Referee: Indi Hartwell): Lei Ying Lee vs. WWE NXT’s Kelani Jordan

The match starts off with both women locking up and they grapple around the ring with neither willing to let go of the collar and elbow lockup. Jordan then uses her athleticism to control Lee’s arm, but she is taken down to the mat. Lee then cinches in a side headlock. Jordan then fights to her feet, but is hit with a shoulder block down to the mat. Both women then battle back and forth. Jordan then hits a high cross body block for a two count. Lee then gets a jackknife cover for a two count. Both women then each score two counts and face off.

Lee then hits a series of rights in the corner and suplexes Jordan over for another two count. Lee then cinches in a Torture Rack on Jordan and sets up a facebuster, but Jordan escapes. Jordan then hits a Northern Lights suplex for a two count. Jordan then cinches in a single leg Boston Crab. Lee then kicks Jordan and sends her through the ropes and down to the floor. Lee then hits a top rope hurricanrana on Jordan, but she can’t capitalize. The referee then begins to count them down, but they make their way to their feet before the count of ten and begin slugging it out. Lee then hits some strikes and kicks. Lee then hits a dropkick for a two count.

Both women then battle back and forth. Lee then hits a Blue Thunder Bomb for a two count. Jordan then rolls to the outside and both women battle on the floor. Jordan is then sent into the barricade. Jordan then goes for a leaping rana off the apron, but instead both women crashes to the floor. Both women then returns to the ring. Jordan then hits a cartwheel into a back elbow. Jordan then charges for a kick, but she is taken down and put into an STF. Jordan then escapes and hits a Facebuster. Jordan then hits a frog splash off the top for a two count. Jordan then goes for One of A Kind on Lee, but accidentally hits Hartwell. Lee then hits Thunderstruck, but there is no referee to make the count. Hartwell then finally recovers, but Jordan kicks out at two. Both women then exchanges near falls. Jordan then hits a stunner and the One of A Kind for the win.

After the match, Carlo Silva presents the TNA Knockouts World Title to Jordan. Jordan then hold up Lee’s hand in a show of respect. It is then made official that Kelani Jordan will defend the title against Indi Hartwell at Bound For Glory. Ash By Elegance then approaches Jordan on the stage and hugs her and congratulates her.

We then see Myron Reed preparing for his X-Division Title Match. We also see Leon Slater preparing for the match.

TNA International Championship Match: “Bulletproof” Steve Maclin (c) vs. “The King of TNA” Frankie Kazarian

The match starts off with both men locking up and we get some back and forth action as both men try to out-do the other and play mind games. Kazarian is then hit with a knee to the mid-section as he rebounds off the ropes. Kazarian is then sent to the floor, but side-steps and gets out of the way of Maclin’s missile dive. Kazarian then works Maclin over in the aisle and sends Maclin back into the ring. Kazarian then hits a leg drop across the chest. Kazarian then takes Maclin out as he rebounds off the ropes and he scores several near falls. Kazarian then goes for a Uranage, but Maclin nails him. Maclin then hits a series of rights. Kazarian then hits Maclin with a clothesline and works over his back.

Both men then battle back and forth. Maclin then nails Kazarian for a two count. Maclin then sets Kazarian up in the corner for the Crosshairs. Kazarian then pulls himself up and hits a cutter as Maclin charges. Kazarian then goes to the top, but is hit with a big right hand. Maclin then hits a superplex, but Kazarian rolls to the floor. Maclin then goes to grab Kazarian, but he is hit with a shoulder block and a DDT for a two count. El Mesias then makes his way out and gets in Maclin’s face. Maclin then hits him and goes back to the ring. Kazarian then kicks Maclin low as he enters through the ropes. Kazarian then hits the slingshot cutter for the win.

TNA X-Division Championship Match: “The Youngest In Charge” Leon Slater (c) vs. The Rascalz’s Myron Reed

The match starts off with both men locking up and we get some back and forth action until they face off. Reed then hits an inverted codebreaker to the chest. Reed then goes to the top, but is dropkicked down to the floor. Slater then hits a slingshot pescado to the floor. The crowd then goes back and forth with dueling chants. Reed then comes back with a rana takedown for a two count. Reed then follows it up with a big kick. Reed and Slater then goes back and forth with some dizzying attempts of offense and defense.

Both men then battle near the ropes. Slater then pins Reed around and hits him with a Utopia for a two count. Both men then battle again. Reed then comes off the ropes and Slater hits him with a big boot. Reed then rolls to the floor. Slater then hits a big flip dive over the ring post and to the floor. Both men then battle back into the ring and fight over a suplex. They then crash over the top to the floor, where they battle again over the suplex which is turned into a Stundog Millionaire. Reed then hits a big dive and a top rope 450 splash. He then covers Slater, but Slater kicks out at the last second. Reed then ducks a kick and hits him with a cutter. Reed then places Slater on the ropes and charges for a move. Slater then hits Reed with a 450 swanton for the win.

After the match, TNA President Carlos Silva then presents Slater with his championship belt and both men shake hands. Santino Marella then makes his way out and says he has been in negotiations all day for this match and that match will see Leon Slater defend his X-Division Title against WWE NXT’s Je’Von Evans at Bound For Glory. Evans is then shown on the big screen and says he has always wanted to have a match in a TNA ring so at Bound For Glory it will be himself and Leon Slater for the X-Division Title and the PPV comes to a close.
