WWE SmackDown saw a bit of a change on commentary this week.
The September 26 episode of WWE SmackDown went down at the Kia Center in Orlando, Florida. They may have been missing a key member of the broadcast team, but the show still went on.
Corey Graves suffered a brutal attack from Brock Lesnar last week on SmackDown. This was Lesnar’s finishing touches on his feud with John Cena going into Wrestlepalooza. Because of that attack, Graves wasn’t on SmackDown this week.
WWE SmackDown opened up with Michael Cole alongside Booker T. The shoo-in WWE Hall of Fame announcer then revealed that Booker T is filling in for Corey Graves.
It was said that Corey Graves will be out of action for several weeks. Only time will tell how long it takes for him to return, but he has good reason for taking this hiatus.
