Journal Review
The Crawfordsville/Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce was pleased to host a ribbon cutting for Broken Heart Cycling with Stradalli.
Broken Heart Cycling, owned and operated by local residents Dave and Jennifer Meadows, was formerly known as Hodson’s Bay Company in West Lafayette. With more than 40 years of experience delivering friendly and knowledgeable service to western Indiana, they now bring their expertise to the heart of downtown Crawfordsville.
From trikes to triathlons, they have a large selection of road bikes, mountain bikes, commuters, children’s bikes, BMX bikes, recumbents, fat tire bikes and electric bikes. Their fitness section offers ellipticals, treadmills, spin bikes and a range of bike trainers and computers to make indoor fitness fun and easy. They also have a wide array of helmets, saddles, apparel, bags, bottles, car racks, parts, tubes, tires and other accessories that will enhance your riding experience.
A dedicated technician offers repairs ranging from tire changes to hydraulic brake bleeding.
Stradalli, the well know brand of high-performance, carbon fiber bicycles, has been acquired by Stradalli-Hudson Cycle-an Indiana company owned by Robert Hudson, and his son, Cole. The Hudsons are the former owner and operators of Rotten Robbie’s Cycle Sports.
SHC will seek strategic brick and mortar partnerships, as well as brand ambassadors and sponsored athletes assisting a direct to consumer online marketing strategy. They are pursuing a hybrid approach to brand marketing.
Stradalli-Hudson is thrilled to be partnering with the Meadows family, owner operators of Broken Heart Cycling which is the first Independent bike shop to partner with Stradalli bicycles. The store will feature a designated showroom area for Stradalli road, track, triathlon, mountain and gravel bikes.
Look for group rides and demo days in the near future.
Broken Heart Cycling is located at 101 N. Washington St.
