The Green Bay Packers‘ first 2025 appearance on “Sunday Night Football” may have been a homecoming for Micah Parsons, but it was the offenses that did virtually all the dancing in a 40-40 tie with the Dallas Cowboys at AT&T Stadium on Sept. 28.

And though 80 total points between two teams and over 900 yards of total offense usually qualifies as required sports television, the plot twist of the game ending without a winner wasn’t a thriller with NFL fans.

It appears most social media posters never want to see an encore presentation of two teams finishing a game without a win or a loss.

An inability to defend by both sides certainly set the backdrop for a game such as this. With more than 400 yards of total offense on each side, it was the kind of game where whoever had the ball last likely had the best chance to win.

The Packers certainly had their chances on the final possession in overtime when their clock management was questionable, but by then, fans were upset with the investment of 70 football minutes without the outcome of a winner and a loser.
