Tennis and pickleball courts have reopened in Mississauga after a renovation.
The Lisgar Fields Tennis Courts, at 3805 Doug Leavens Blvd., were revamped with funding from National Bank, according to a press release from the City of Mississauga.
The four refreshed courts are “now a vibrant, welcoming space for everyone—from curious beginners to seasoned pros,” the city said.
The city is hosting a grand re-opening at the courts on Thursday, Oct. 2.
There will be an opening ceremony from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., followed by an opportunity to try out the new courts and connect with the tennis community.
“Whether you’re a tennis lover, a pickleball pro, or just looking for a great way to stay active outdoors, come by to check out the new courts, meet neighbours and help celebrate this game-changing upgrade to the community,” the city said.
