Epp will continue Cadillac’s US-focused commercial strategyNowak becomes youngest president of an F1 race at 28 years old
The Cadillac Formula One Team have appointed Tyler Epp as their new global head of commercial strategy.
Epp will lead the team’s commercial operations worldwide, having previously served as president of the Miami Grand Prix since 2022.
During his tenure, the event consistently sold out and delivered four of the five largest live US TV audiences in Formula One history. He also secured the Grand Prix’s extension until 2041, making it the longest contracted race on the calendar.
Prior to Epp’s arrival at Cadillac, the team has deployed a steady approach to its commercial strategy. Iconic American brand Tommy Hilfiger was the first to come on board as the team’s official apparel partner, with Jim Beam continuing the all-American trend as Cadillac’s official spirits partner. Epp’s extensive experience working in the US will be crucial in continuing this approach.
Before Epp’s appointment, Cadillac had taken a steady approach to building its commercial portfolio. Iconic American brand Tommy Hilfiger was the first to join as the team’s official apparel partner, followed by Jim Beam as its official spirits partner. Epp’s extensive US market experience will be key to sustaining and expanding this strategy.
“We could not have found a better leader and visionary to build out the commercial arm of our team,” said Dan Towriss, chief executive of Cadillac and TWG Motorsports. “His work shaping the Miami Grand Prix into one of the marquee events on the Formula One calendar demonstrates his unique command of the sport domestically and worldwide.”
