Fantasy NASCAR Driver Rankings: Bank of America Roval 400 at Charlotte
1. Shane Van Gisbergen ($12,500) — The road course king. SVG has won four straight road events in 2025. Until proven otherwise, he’s Superman when the track turns right.
2. Christopher Bell ($10,200) — The only Cup driver besides SVG to win a road course this year, taking COTA. He’s also logged runner-up finishes in Mexico City and Watkins Glen, making him the clear No. 2 road option.
3. Chase Briscoe ($9,200) — A road course win feels inevitable for Briscoe. He excelled on them in Xfinity and now pilots the No. 19 Toyota, a car with a strong road course history.
4. Kyle Larson ($10,500) — Oddsmakers give Larson the best chance of unseating Van Gisbergen. It’s a tall order. He’ll need chaos, but the Charlotte Roval often delivers chaos.
5. Chase Elliott ($9,500) — The dominant road course days may be gone, but Elliott remains consistent. He’s earned three top-fives in five road events this year.
6. Chris Buescher ($8,700) — Quietly one of the best road racers in the Cup Series. With no playoff pressure, Buescher can skip stage points strategy and play for the win up front.
7. William Byron ($9,700) — Hendrick Motorsports has the equipment and the drivers to challenge SVG. Byron is one of several HMS options capable of running up front — or finishing right behind Van Gisbergen.
8. Tyler Reddick ($10,000) — The road course heater has cooled. Reddick is still a top-five threat, but no longer a serious contender for wins with SVG in the field. He’s logged two podiums and four top-10s this year.
9. A.J. Allmendinger ($9,000) — The road racing veteran still has the chops. His 2023 Roval win proves he can overcome equipment limitations.
10. Michael McDowell ($8,100) — Always a factor on road courses, even in mid-tier equipment. The Spire car isn’t elite, but it’s competitive enough, and McDowell knows how to maximize it.
11. Ryan Blaney ($8,000) — Road courses remain one of Blaney’s weaker spots, though he’s still a top-10 driver. The Roval’s unpredictability and Blaney’s playoff security give him freedom to gamble.
12. Alex Bowman ($7,800) — DFS players looking for Hendrick exposure at a discount can turn to Bowman. A win is unlikely, but a solid top-10 is realistic and valuable.
13. Ty Gibbs ($9,300) — Gibbs’ road racing pedigree comes from the Xfinity circuit, and his early Cup results prove it wasn’t just weak fields. He remains a dangerous play on road courses.
14. Denny Hamlin ($7,200) — Once steady on road courses, Hamlin’s results have slipped. The likely culprit is stronger competition rather than diminished skill, but his DFS ceiling is limited.
15. Ross Chastain ($8,500) — Trackhouse built its name on road course success, and Chastain was part of that before SVG arrived. A Roval win might be his only ticket into the next playoff round.
