Huawei Watch GT 6 series & Watch Ultimate 2 — bigger batteries, smarter sports, and extreme durability

The Huawei Watch GT 6 series debuts the world’s first stacked high-silicon batteries, boosting energy density by 37% and capacity by 65%. This breakthrough delivers up to 21 days of use on a single charge. Huawei also introduces Sunflower Positioning System 2.0, improving GPS accuracy by 20%, and new cycling tools like FTP metrics, Virtual Power estimation, automatic ride detection with smart pausing, and compatibility with pro-grade sensors.

Health and safety features also see upgrades. The watches now achieve 98% heart rate accuracy during cycling, more precise fall detection, and better stress, sleep, and HRV tracking via the TruSense system. The GT 6 Pro goes further with ECG monitoring, a depth sensor for diving, and exclusive modes such as golf and trail running. It also swaps stainless steel for premium sapphire glass, titanium alloy, and a nanocrystal base.

All models run on HarmonyOS 6.0, which brings a refreshed design, playful new watch faces, and an upgraded golf app. Storage jumps to 64GB, while connectivity covers Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, dual-band GPS, and TNG eWallet support. Displays include a 1.47″ AMOLED panel on the 46mm GT 6 and Pro, and a 1.32″ version on the 41mm model. They are 5 ATM + IP69 rated, with the Pro certified for dives up to 40m.

At the top end, the Huawei Watch Ultimate 2 pushes durability further with a zirconium-based liquid metal case, sapphire glass, and a ceramic back. It withstands 200m water resistance and debuts the industry’s first underwater sonar communication, letting divers send preset texts, emojis, or SOS alerts at 30–60m depths.

It also adds the Ice Diamond Cooling System, the advanced Multi-sensing X-Tap sensor for ECG, SpO₂, and gesture controls, plus eSIM support for emergency calls. Last but not least, you get up to 4.8 days of battery life, and a 1.5″ LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display that can go as bright as 3,500 nits.
