The Houston Farmers Market said farewell until next year last weekend.
This year’s Market was a success with every week hosting vegetable, preserves, fruit, meat and egg vendors as well as information booths representing Fire Smart and the Regional District of Bulkley-Nachako.
Every Friday starting at noon, the market was set up at the east end of the Stealhead Park and attracted a large consumer base.
The market has also offered Market Coupons for low-income seniors and families to help with the high cost of living.\
