Per Dalton Johnson of NBC Sports Bay Area, Warriors head coach Steve Kerr announced on Saturday that the 6-foot-7 Marquette product is a “question mark” ahead of the club’s preseason debut this weekend, a Sunday home tilt against the Los Angeles Lakers.
Johnson reports that Butler rolled his ankle recently, and has skipped Golden State’s last two practices while recovering.
Reserve center Trayce Jackson-Davis, meanwhile, is dealing with a right thumb injury, although he insists it shouldn’t be seen as a long-term concern.
