Center Valley, PA (October 4, 2025) – The DeSales University men’s tennis team earned its first win of the season taking down Rutgers-Camden, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon.
The Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead winning in the #1 doubles flight as first-year Patrick Buonacquista teamed with junior Rob Ritchie to win 6-0 and DSU won the third flight by forfeit.
DSU then closed out the win winning five of the six singles matches. They earned a point in the #6 spot by forfeit took the #1, #2, #3, and #5 singles matches.
Buonacquista won 6-1, 6-3 in the first flight, Ritchie was a 6-2, 6-0 winner in the second spot, sophomore Frank Boffa won 6-0, 6-0 in the third spot, and junior Christopher Gomez won 6-0, 6-0.
DeSales wraps-up its Fall schedule traveling to Neumann University next Saturday at Noon.
