The final race of the Round of 12 in this year’s NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs will test the best in the sport on Sunday afternoon, as several drivers look to lock in a spot in the third round at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course in the Bank of America ROVAL 400.
Fans were treated to a thrilling finish at last Sunday’s race in Kansas. The middle event of the second round of the postseason came down to the final lap between Bubba Wallace and 23XI owner Denny Hamlin. The two ended up getting tangled in the closing moments of the race, leading to Chase Elliott stealing the checkered flag for just his second win of the season.

With that result, Elliott and Blaney have both bunched their tickets to the Round of 8. Elliott’s Hendric Motorsports teammate Kyle Larson, along with Hamlin, are both sitting comfortably in the top eight heading into Sunday. Joey Logano holds the final spot above the cut line, 13 points ahead of Ross Chastain, and 26 points in front of Wallace.
