Things boiled over for the Yankees in the top of the seventh inning on Wednesday night — and it meant an early exit for two members of the coaching staff.

After Anthony Volpe was called out on strikes on what appeared to be a ball well above the zone, pitching coach Matt Blake was tossed before Aaron Boone got the heave-ho — but not until he got his money’s worth as he got in the face of home plate umpire Manny Gonzalez.

Volpe took a 1-2 sinker that looked above the strike zone, but Gonzalez called the pitch from Blue Jays Chris Bassitt a strike.

Boone, after the Blake ejection, came out and got in Gonzalez’s face in what was a tense ejection with the Yankees down 6-4.
