AUSTIN, Texas — The Monday after Formula One is expected to be the Austin airport’s busiest day in 2025, officials said. However, it remains unclear whether the day will break the airport’s all-time record set last year.

On Oct. 21. 2024, over 44,000 passengers departed from Austin-Bergstrom International Airport.

“The Monday after F1 will be our busiest day this year but it’s too soon to know if it will break a record for busiest day ever or will it remain just under last year’s record breaking 44,043 departing passengers,” an airport spokesperson told CBS Austin.
