Police say 46-year-old James Irwin Allan Davey is wanted on 15 charges, including assault with a weapon.

Toronto police are searching for a man who allegedly assaulted, threatened, and forcibly confined a person over the course of nine months.

Police say between February and October of this year, the suspect committed assault, assault with a weapon, uttered threats, forcibly confined, and harassed the victim in the area of Eglinton Avenue West and Bathurst Street.

Investigators say the suspect and the victim are known to each other.

James Irwin Allan Davey, 46, of Toronto, is wanted for numerous charges including criminal harassment, break and enter, and possess weapon dangerous to public.

He is described by police as five-foot-10 with a heavy build and balding with grey, short hair, and green eyes.
