He joined the team on a full-time basis in 2015 and spent nine seasons with the team, recording 160 defensive tackles, six special teams tackles, 19 sacks, three forced fumbles, and one interception over 133 regular-season games.
The six-foot, 250-pound defender signed with the Montreal Alouettes in 2024 and played 18 regular-season games with the team, recording 17 defensive tackles and two sacks. He retired after the completion of the season at the age of 32, finishing his CFL career with one Grey Cup win from his days in Cowtown.

He recorded 146 total tackles, 38 tackles for loss, 23 sacks, four pass knockdowns, four fumble recoveries, and three forced fumbles over 35 collegiate games. The Gaels reached one Yates Cup during Wiggan’s tenure, losing to the Western Mustangs in 2013 by a score of 51-22.
Wiggan was inducted alongside fellow players Joel Dagnone, Ryan Graberg, Cam Innes, Tim Pendergast, Sam Sabourin, Osie Ukwuoma, and Dan Village. The class also included eight builders — Ron Augustine, Frank Halligan, Max Jackson, Doug Jeffries, Mike Postovit, Claude Scilley, Pat Sheahan, and Pat Tracey — as well as the inaugural 1882 team.
