At a thickness of 6 millimeters and a weight of 170 grams, the Motorola Edge 70 is only slightly thicker and heavier than the Apple iPhone Air or the Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge, but also has a significantly larger 4,800 mAh battery that can be charged either via USB-C with up to 68 watts or wirelessly with 15 watts. The flat 6.67-inch P-OLED panel has a resolution of 2,712 x 1,220 and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

The 50 MP selfie camera is housed in a punch-hole, while the camera module on the back is said to house two 50 MP cameras with OIS, although the retailer is yet to provide any further details on these cameras. The smartphone houses the fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, which, at least in one variant, is supported by 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage. The device comes with Android 16 and a 24-month warranty.
