MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State men’s and women’s golf teams are set to wrap up their fall season next week at the USF Fall Invitational, hosted at Grand Falls Casino & Golf Resort in Larchwood, Iowa, on Monday and Tuesday.
Both Beaver teams enter the final regular season tournament of the fall schedule looking to carry their momentum from recent strong performances into the event before shifting focus to the upcoming NSIC Tournament at Paradise Pointe Golf Club.
For the men’s team, freshman Kasen Rostad has led the way with back-to-back top 10 finishes, including a 10th- place result at the Marauders Tournament last week. Fellow upperclassman Zach Hendrickson also continues to provide consistent play, earning a top-15 finish in Bismarck as the Beavers placed sixth as a team.
On the women’s side, Zoe Banack enters the week riding her best stretch of the season after tying for third place at the Marauders Tournament, which was her second top finish of the fall. Macie Sebelius and Abigail Goettle have also contributed consistent round.
The USF Fall Invitational will host 10 conference competitors on the men’s side, and 12 conference competitors on the women’s side.
The USF Fall Invitational provides one final opportunity for the Beavers to fine tune their game before the postseason begins. After completion of the USF Fall Invitational, the Beavers will look towards the NSIC Fall Tournament.
