NASCAR 25 by iRacing was released for early access on Friday ahead of its full release on Tuesday. To build excitement, a handful of drivers filmed a promotional video in which they guessed the ratings of their peers.Â
Austin Cindic, Ross Chastain, Ryan Blaney, Noah Gragson, Chase Briscoe and others reacted one by one to drivers with a variety of ratings.Â
Gragson’s 71 was the lowest rating shown. “Oh, 71, this guy is —,” the former Xfinity series star reacted to seeing the rating (without seeing the name). Coincidentally, Gragson hyped up the game when asked about it in July.Â
As he peeled back the ratings one by one — 75 Superspeedway, 73 Speedway, 79 Intermediate, 62 Short Intermediate, 67 Concrete, and 58 Road — he looked up in despair.
“Is it me?” he asked before flipping the card over and seeing his name.”Definitely Chicago drove this number down. I feel like I’m pretty good at Superspeedway racing.
Grayson, 27, finished 30th in the 2025 Grant Park 165, also known as the Chicago Street Race. The No. 4 Ford driver for Front Row finished 24th overall in the 2024 Cup Series standings.Â
When Blaney saw the 58 road score, he said, “No bueno…is this Austin Dillon? “Sorry, sorry, Austin. I don’t know your road course prowess.”
Both Blaney and Hocevar couldn’t believe the ratings. “I’m kind of shocked a little bit. The road course stuff is bad, dude,” Blaney added. “Oh god,” Hocevar reacted. While reacting to Dillon’s score later in the video, Gragson said. “Who’s the stat guy? I got beef with the stat guy!”
Cover-athlete William Bryson is the only driver in the game with a 100 overall score. Burt Myers holds up the rear with the lowest mark at 40. Despite his status as a three-time champion, Joey Logano was ranked outside the top five.Â
DON’T MISS:Â
Chase Briscoe, given an 86 overall, was able to test out the game and gave it rave reviews. The average person would probably have trouble getting around the track in iRacing. This is a game I can play with (wife) Marissa,” he admitted.Â
