The men’s individual best gross and net as well as the iron man events were held in the last two weeks of September

Men’s Club Individual Best Gross and Best Net competition

The results of the Men’s Club individual Best Gross and Best Net Competition held on Sunday Sept. 21. Many thanks go to Ridge View Health and Performance, for their continued support of our organization.

Flight A gross winner was Andre Savard, coming in with 73.

Other gross winners were Blake Frechette with 75 and Wayne Cheveldave with 78.

Flight B gross went to Chris Bird shooting 76, Jim Proteau, 78, and Darcy Haggard, 84.

Flight C gross went to Brooks Lehtonen with 85, Trevor Zado 85 and Darren Bellas at 87. On the Net side of Flight A was, Bryce Dabb with 67, Bill Barrett, 70 and Chad Wutke, 71. Flight B Net, Sam Parhar with 66, Keith Ellwood, 72, Jordan Curran, 73. Flight C net Jack Sparks, 68, Tylo Smith, 71 and Fred Fredrickson, 72. All ties were settled by retrogression.

Closest to the pin were won by Darcy Haggard on No. 2, Blake Frechette on No. 4, Keith Ellwood on No. 13 and Sam Parhar on No 17. The charity closest to the pin on No. 7 was won by Mark Zado. who collects $58.50.

Winners of the skins competition were Adam Taylor on, No. 5, Andre Savard Numbers 8 and 18, Blake Frechette, No. 9, Jason Dwolinsky, No. 14 and Preben Rasmussen, No. 16. All prizes may be picked up anytime after noon on Tuesday.

Iron Man

The only iron man of the season was held on Sunday, Sept. 28. It was a difficult course as the blue and white tees were in difficult positions.

The gross winners coming in with a score of 67, was the twosome of Craig Acland and Reece Bowne.

Next on the gross side were partners Terry Argotow and Sam Parhar, also with 67, followed by Cody Breuker and Darcy Haggard with another 67. All ties were settled by retrogression.

On the net side of the day, Jack Sparks and Robert Moffett led the field with a score of 53.4, Next with 56.6 was the twosome of Bill Barrett and Darren VanDyk. The final net prize goes to the twosome of Lucas Clark and Steve Pointon, coming in with 57.8.

The closest to the pin winners were, Hank Krahn on No. 2, Darcy Haggard on No. 4, Chris Bird on No. 13 and Wayne Cheveldave on No. 17. The Charity closest to the pin on No. 7 goes to Chris Bird who takes home $48.
