LAP 2 – Christopher Bell draws in Hamlin as the battle for 2nd heats up. Briscoe now has half a second on 2nd.
LAP 1 – The field fans out as Chase Briscoe takes the lead into turn 3.

Joe Gibbs Racing teammates of Denny Hamlin and Chase Briscoe find themselves alongside each other on the front row for another intermediate race. Hamlin starts on the pole looking to become the first driver to lock himself into the Championship 4 and have two precious weeks to prepare for Phoenix.
Ross Chastain made contact with the outside wall in practice and made repairs in time to qualify so no cars to the rear to start this event.
