The Montreal Alouettes will be making only minor tweaks to their lineup ahead of the annual Thanksgiving Day clash with the Ottawa Redblacks.

Rookie Canadian linebacker Nate Beauchemin returns to the lineup after sitting out the last eight games with a hand injury. The reigning Presidents’ Trophy winner as the top defensive player in U Sports was selected 14th overall in the second round of the 2025 CFL Draft and has recorded six special teams tackles plus one on defence in seven games played.

American rookie linebacker Caleb Johnson will also make his CFL debut in a depth capacity. American defensive end M.J. Sherman has been demoted to the practice roster, while rookie Canadian linebacker Riley MacLeod is listed as a healthy scratch.

The Montreal Alouettes (8-7) will host the Ottawa Redblacks (4-11) at Percival Molson Stadium on Monday, October 13 with kickoff slated for 1:00 p.m. EDT. The Redblacks were eliminated from playoff contention with a loss to the Saskatchewan Roughriders this past week, while the Alouettes were on a bye.

The weather forecast in Montreal calls for a high of 18 degrees with a mix of sun and cloud. The game will be broadcast on TSN and RDS in Canada, CBS Sports Network in the United States, and CFL+ internationally. Radio listeners can tune-in on TSN 1200 in Ottawa and TSN 690 in Montreal.
