NEW YORK – University of Akron men’s soccer senior Stefan Dobrijevic (Uniontown, Ohio) was named by the BIG EAST Conference to its weekly Honor Roll the league announced on Monday, Oct. 13.
 
Dobrijevic registered team-highs in goals (1), assists (2), points (4), shots (12) and shots on goal (5) in a pair of matches last week.
 
In a come-from-behind 3-2 win for the Zips over DePaul, he netted a goal and two assists on the strength of a game- and career-high seven shots, including four on goal. He scored his fourth goal of the season in the 24th minute (23:52) before adding his team- and league-leading sixth and seventh assists on the campaign for Akron goals in the 66th (65:30) and 88th (87:09) minutes, respectively. His assist on junior Freddy Kossehasse’s (McKinney, Texas) first career goal, a game-winner, lifted the Zips to a 3-2 win over the Blue Demons.
 
In a 0-0 draw at No. 13 Cornell, Dobrijevic recorded a game-high five shots.
 
The 23rd-rated Zips return to action on Friday (Oct. 17) traveling to South Orange, N.J. for a showdown at No. 21 Seton Hall at 6:56 p.m.
