Toronto police are investigating after a pedestrian was struck by a vehicle in Etobicoke Tuesday evening.
In a post on social media, police said officers responded to reports of a pedestrian struck in the area of Dixon Road and Kipling Avenue at around 6:14 p.m.
They said the vehicle did not remain on scene.
A female pedestrian in her 20s was taken to the hospital by trauma run, but police did not know the extent of her injuries.
The suspect vehicle is described as being dark-coloured, and was possibly an SUV, police said.
The investigation is ongoing.
