The international break is finally over, and we can now go back to Bayern Munich playing again, and boy do they have a treat in store for us. It’s Der Klassiker and while it has normally gone the way of the Rekordmeister, Dortmund seems to have found their way and built up a solid second place ahead of this fixture. It won’t be easy as it was before, so the Bavarians can’t afford to slip up.
Bayern needs its best players for this match, and the lineup above is basically the champagne XI with the available players. Manuel Neuer in goal; Sacha Boey, Jonathan Tah, Dayot Upamecano, and Konrad Laimer in defence; Aleksandar Pavlović and Joshua Kimmich in the midfield pivot; and Luis Díaz, Serge Gnabry, and Michael Olise supporting Harry Kane up front.
Kane only played half of England’s matches during the international break so he should be good to go. Kim Min-jae on the other hand has not covered himself in glory in his last international outing but there is a chance that Vincent Kompany trusts him enough to start this match, and that he can slot in for either one of the center backs.
