Stop us if you’ve heard this one before: a KPop Demon Hunters song is No. 1 on the Top Gabb Music Songs chart.
However, the September 2025 iteration of the monthly ranking has its own distinction: it’s the first time on a song from the movie’s fictional girl group HUNTR/X is No. 1, as “Golden” rises to the top, vanquishing the two-month lead by its in-film foe, Saja Boys.
Billboard has partnered with Gabb Wireless, a phone company for kids and teens, to present a monthly chart tracking on-demand streams via its Gabb Music platform. Gabb Music offers a vast catalog of songs, all of which are selected by the Gabb team to include only kid- and teen-appropriate content. Gabb Music streams are not currently factored into any other Billboard charts.

Of note: the September 2025 chart marks the second published ranking since Gabb Music was made available via app stores, meaning users can now download the streaming app to devices other than Gabb Wireless’ phones and tablets.
“Golden” debuted alongside the rest of KPop Demon Hunters’ original songs on the July 2025 Top Gabb Music Songs tally, the first full month of tracking data after the Netflix film’s June 20 premiere. It started at No. 2, blocked from the summit by Saja Boys’ “Your Idol,” and in August, it dropped to No. 4, behind “Your Idol,” HUNTR/X’s “How It’s Done” and Saja Boys’ “Soda Pop” at Nos. 3-1, respectively.
But this time, it’s “Golden”’s turn, following its to-date eight-week reign on the weekly Billboard Hot 100, beginning on the Aug. 16 list and most recently on the Oct. 11 ranking (it falls to No. 13 on the latest chart, surpassed by the 12 songs from Taylor Swift’s new album The Life of a Showgirl).
“Golden” reigns over a month that sees music from KPop Demon Hunters occupy the entire top five of Top Gabb Music Songs, the third month in a row the movie has achieved the feat (it also dominated the top seven of the August tally). “Soda Pop” falls to No. 2, while July leader “Your Idol” is No. 3.
It’s Alex Warren’s “Ordinary” that ends the KPop Demon Hunters party at No. 6, the third month in a row the song — itself a 10-week Hot 100 ruler — has been the highest-charting song not from the film. Warren also boasts the week’s highest Top Gabb Music Songs debut: “Eternity,” another track from his debut album You’ll Be Alright, Kid, bows at No. 18. It’s achieved a peak of No. 16 on the Hot 100 (Aug. 2) and appears at No. 93 on the latest survey.
The month’s other two debuts are courtesy of Forrest Frank and the Figs and Stray Kids, with the former’s “Lemonade” starting at No. 23 and the latter’s “Chk Chk Boom” beginning at No. 24. See the full top 25 below.
