In those 15 years, he produced 76.5 sacks (third in club chronicle), 487 tackles, 126 for a loss and 153 QB hits in a Philadelphia-record 206 regular-season games played.
When he retired, Graham’s exit wasn’t the only one along the Philadelphia defensive front. The team also lost Josh Sweat and Milton Williams to free agency.
The 2025 Eagles have seen edge Nolan Smith placed on injured reserve, had standout defensive tackle Jalen Carter miss some time with a heel injury and pass rusher Azeez Ojulari is currently dealing with a knee issue.
So, Philly could use some help.
Just how much help Graham can provide remains to be seen after seven months on the proverbial “couch.” Last year, he tore his triceps, but was able to return in time for a Super Bowl win over the Kansas City Chiefs.
Through 11 regular-season games, Graham had 20 tackles and 3.5 sacks before saying goodbye after a Super Bowl triumph.
Clearly, he wasn’t ready hang up his cleats. How much of a boost he can provide for the Philly pass rush will be glimpsed in the coming weeks as the club’s all-time leader in games played plans to add a few more to the ledger.
