This week’s Raw finished something WWE started on the previous episode: writing Seth Rollins out of the World Heavyweight championship, out of The Vision stable, and out of the company’s storylines for at least the next several months.
It was done by having Bron Breakker, Bronson Reed, and Paul Heyman turn on Rollins. It was done because of the shoulder injury Seth suffered delivering a coast-to-coast headbutt in his victory over Undisputed WWE champ Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel.
In his first message since the Oct. 20 Raw, Seth was pondering all of that over some coffee. It’s a lot to consider as he faces rehab on his surgically repaired left arm, seen in a sling as he sips caffeinated beverage. Rollins is wearing a Dusty Rhodes t-shirt, and repping his Chicago Bears, winners of four straight games and in the thick of the playoff pack as the NFL approaches its mid-season mark.
Everything’s better with coffee after your team wins… even being betrayed, losing one of your most prized possessions, and facing a lengthy recovery before you can do anything about it.
