There’s excessive speeding, then there’s this case of excessive speeding.
The RNC clocked a vehicle Monday night in the pitch black hours near Pasadena nearing take-off speed.
The 28-year-old man behind the wheel hit 207 km/h on the TCH when he was stopped on the TCH by RNC officers around 9:15.
He has been slapped with numerous driving tickets, but also charged for operating a vehicle without reasonable consideration for others.
Then, last night at about 8:30 on the TCH near Pinchgut Lake, RNC tried to stop a driver going 157 km/h in a 100 km/h zone. The woman hit the gas instead but was later located at her home in Gallants.
She was ticketed and charged with flight from police.
