“It’s definitely been some years,” the former backup dancer, who was married to the “Gimme More “singer from 2004 to 2007, told the Daily Mail.
As for the exes’ sons, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, Federline claimed they have seen their mom “within the last year.”

Federline — who relocated to Hawaii with his sons and his wife, Victoria Prince, in 2023 — said the communication between his ex and their kids is “pretty open,” but “not what it should be.”
“That’s a fluid situation. Something that needs work, and there’s a lot to try to be built on right there,” he told the outlet.

Federline, 47, also claimed Spears, 43, did cocaine while breastfeeding their boys, punched their eldest son in the face and wished the children were dead.
He further wrote that he believes Spears is “racing toward” a tragic ending with her erratic behavior.
“From where I sit, the clock is ticking, and we’re getting close to the 11th hour. Something bad is going to happen if things don’t change, and my biggest fear is that our sons will be left holding the pieces,” he penned.
