Every divorce is a different story. Couples go through ups and downs, and no one’s issues are the same. But if there has been one constant in the reporting of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s divorce, it has been that Kidman wanted the marriage to continue and was willing to fight for it, while Urban was not.

Now, reports indicate that Kidman would still love to keep the family together. The Daily Mail reports that she “would get back with him in a heartbeat,” according to a friend. Not just that, the outlet reports that if it’s confirmed Urban has already moved on, “that would be a worst-case scenario for her.” This confirms reports to Star that Kidman still considers Urban the love of her life. “Keith was the love of her life, and it’s not that simple to just turn those feelings off like a tap,” a source told the outlet.

Star previously reported that Kidman and Urban had been separated for months before she filed for divorce, with Urban having already moved out of the house the two shared with their two daughters. Reportedly, the two were trying to pair “formalize logistics and figure out how to divvy everything up.” It was not, however, Kidman’s decision in any way. “Nicole is absolutely devastated he chose to quit on the marriage,” a source said. “It’s like someone’s taken a sledgehammer to her whole world.”
Recent rumors suggest Urban has already moved on.“The rumor is that he’s with a younger woman in the business,” a “Nashville music industry source told Daily Mail. “It’s all everyone is talking about. Everyone wants to know who, but so far, that’s a mystery.”
These rumors reportedly left Kidman “absolutely disgusted,” according to Star. “If he’s done this while still legally married, that would be utterly unforgivable for Nicole. She would see it as the ultimate in disrespect and the ultimate betrayal.”
And there are sadly reports that Urban was, indeed, flirting with other women before the two split. According to The National Enquirer Urban had been flirting with women on the Nashville music scene for years. “There’s no sugarcoating the fact that Keith’s behaved like a total jerk. He’s treated Nicole like dirt at a time when she was most vulnerable,” an insider said.
“It goes without saying that Nicole is devastated and humiliated,” another source said. “It seemed incomprehensible to her that the love of her life would be capable of such cruelty.” Reports also indicate Kidman is aware of the allegations of a relationship between Urban and guitarist Maggie Baugh. “Nicole’s ego has taken a massive blow. The news about Maggie sent her over the edge and she’s now braced for more revelations about Keith’s sleazy behavior, even as she was trying to save the marriage.”
Kidman was previously married to Tom Cruise. The two tied the knot in 1990 and announced their divorce in February 2001 with a press release that focused on the “difficulties inherent of diverging careers which constantly keep them apart.”
But the actresses’ friends reportedly want her to move with a different ex instead of going back to either of her ex-husbands: her former fiancé, Lenny Kravitz, specifically. “Nicole’s friends are telling her that the best thing she can do for herself is to start having fun again,” a source told the National Enquirer. “And Lenny seems like the perfect person to help her do that!”
“By all accounts the red-hot chemistry they had has never gone away. It just makes sense to give it another whirl,” the source added. “Who knows where it could lead? Maybe at this stage in life things could work out for them long-term.”
