CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland State men’s tennis team will continue its fall season this weekend, hosting the ninth annual Viking Invitational. Action at the Viking Invite will begin on Friday, October 24 and run through Sunday, October 26 in the Medical Mutual Tennis Pavilion.
 
2025 Viking Invitational
This year’s Viking Invitational will be a single-flight tournament, with a 48-player singles draw and a 24-team doubles draw. There will also be back draw rounds for both singles and doubles.
 
The Field
Cleveland State will welcome four teams to the MMTP for the Viking Invitational this weekend, as Duquesne, Niagara, Wayne State, and Youngstown State will compete in the three-day tournament.

2025 Fall Campaign
This will mark the fifth tournament of the fall season for the Vikings, and the first time that Cleveland State will be competing at home during the fall. Cleveland State will close out the fall campaign next weekend, traveling south for the Wake Forest Invite (October 31-November 2).
