Golden State Valkyries President Jess Smith said WNBA’s surging growth is showing no signs of slowing, even as the league faces a potential lockout at the end of this month.
The league’s sellout crowds, rising television ratings and sponsorship and media deals mark one of the most powerful growth stories in sports, said Smith in an interview on the sidelines of the USC Next Level Sports conference in Los Angeles on Thursday.
