Aliyah Boston had a tremendous 2025 season for the Indiana Fever.

She earned second-team All-WNBA honors, averaging 15.0 points, 8.2 rebounds and 3.7 assists in helping Indiana reach the league semifinals. The 2023 No. 1 overall draft pick has been an All-Star in each of her three seasons.

But Candace Parker wants to point out that Boston is a league leader … in fouls.

Parker brought out the numbers during the “Post Moves” podcast that she and Boston co-host.

Boston logged 136 fouls in 44 games, about 3.1 per. That’s the eighth most in any WNBA season. In 40 games the previous two seasons, Boston had 130 (16th most, 3.3 per game, in ’24) and 125 as a rookie.

Boston, a second-team All-Defense pick in 2025, defended herself.

“When you really break it down, it’s only about three fouls per game. That’s average,” Boston said. “I’m out there hustling. I’m out there grinding.”

Boston also vowed to cut down on the fouls in 2026, maybe with a little help from the likes of Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell.

“I’m going to put that on my vision board for next year: Don’t lead the league in fouls,” she said.

Also: “Guards, if you’re out there … Help. Me.”

Parker and Boston both have fouled out six times in WNBA action. Difference is, Parker played 17 seasons and is retired. Boston’s total can keep growing.

“Are you mad at me for being an overachiever?” Boston joked.
