The NASCAR Cup Series Championship 4 will be set on Oct. 26.
The Xfinity 500 at Martinsville is the final race of the Round of 8 and the penultimate race of the 2025 season.
Denny Hamlin and Chase Briscoe’s minds are already onto Phoenix next week after their wins over the last two weeks to claim a Championship 4 spot.
From there, Kyle Larson and Christopher Bell are in good points position — barring a win by a driver below the playoff cutline.
William Byron, Chase Elliott, Joey Logano and Ryan Blaney all need a win to advance to the final four. Byron is on the pole while Elliott and Logano start inside the top 10. Blaney, the winner of the last two fall Martinsville races, will start 31st after a woeful qualifying effort on Oct. 25.
